Josue has been with the Stormwater Professionals Group pretty much from the start. He manages all of our field services, including landscaping services, skimmer basket installation and maintenance, and assisting in special projects wherever his expertise is needed. He takes great pride in his work and it shows. If we are currently mowing your detention pond you know this to be true. He takes the time to ensure the job is done right, including trash pickup and weed eating, with a focus on a job well done and a happy customer.
When he’s not at work (I can’t get him to take his vacation days because he’s so dedicated to making sure things are done right!) he can be found spending time playing soccer or coaching both of his son’s soccer teams. He is married with 2 boys and a brand new 1-year-old baby girl.
I sat down with Josue and asked him a few questions so we could all get to know him better. Here’s what he had to say:
Mark: What are the toughest challenges you’ve had at work?
Josue: Dealing with Houston weather and mother nature in general.
Mark: What’s you secret talent no one knows about?
Josue: I can cook BBQ.
Mark: In terms of success, which accomplishments are you most proud of?
Josue: Becoming the person I am right now.
Mark: How have you grown professionally while on our team?
Josue: Becoming a leader and learning how to manage and work with others.
Mark: Tell me something about you that most people don’t know.
Josue: I have multiple tattoos and piercings.
